A Nigerian attorney, Ilavbare Rahmatulai, has asserted that a woman cannot exhibit submissiveness if she is deprived of sexual fulfillment, serves as the unacknowledged provider for her family, and is married to a disrespectful partner.

In her Facebook post dated Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the individual, who identifies as a Muslim, mother, grandmother, attorney, and chartered mediator and conciliator, expressed these views. Her post is as follows:

A married woman cannot be submissive if she is:

  1. Married to a disrespectful and inconsiderate man.
  2. The unappreciated breadwinner.
  3. Sex starved.

Submission comes naturally to a woman married to a good man, rich or poor.
