Veteran Nollywood actor and film director, Charles Onojie has hinted that movies produced by new Nollywood actors lacked originality.
Charles said Nollywood was pulled out of the woods by the efforts of the veterans and ensured it remained afloat.
To buttress his point, The Legendary Actor went down memory lane as he shared a throwback movie he directed in 2006.
The movie clip titled, Spirit of Love, featured Pat Attah, Rita Dominic, Monalisa Chinda Coker.
In the video, Monalisa was seen confronting her boyfriend, Pat for sleeping with his maid, Rita.
Charles urged the new age Nollywood actors to take their performances on set to the level of owning their roles in order to excel brilliantly like their predecessors.
He wrote;
“SPIRIT OF LOVE… a 2006
production directed by @charlesinojie
Do actors still find time to characterise?
Until you take your performance to the
level of owning the part, you are not acting
Salute to these proven consummate role
players..
