The Nigerian film industry is mourning the loss of the esteemed actor, Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, widely recognized as Charles Olumo or Agbako.

Bolaji Amusan, known as Mr. Latin and president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), conveyed the unfortunate news via Instagram.

“#tampanglobal regrets to announce the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu (Agbako). Details of the burial arrangements will be shared later. Rest in peace, father (25/02/1923 – 31/10/2024).”

In a heartfelt tribute, fellow actor Jide Kosoko remarked: “Good night, Baba Charles (Agbako). You lived a fulfilling 101 years. May your legacy endure. R.I.P.”

Earlier this year, Agbako marked his 101st birthday, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy within the Nigerian entertainment sector.

In other news, Kim Kardashian removed a YouTube channel belonging to her eldest son, Saint West, on Wednesday following the posting of two critical messages regarding Vice President Kamala Harris. The channel, which operated under the handle @TheGoatSaint, was reportedly taken down by Kardashian, 44, in response to the politically charged content, as reported by The Daily Beast.

When attempting to access the channel, users encountered a message from YouTube stating, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”

Social media users alleged that Saint had shared a meme depicting Kamala Harris’s image on the sole of a shoe worn by a cartoon character, accompanied by the phrase, “I stepped in s***.”

Last month, Kardashian mentioned that she required Saint to sign a contract to maintain his presence on the platform. It seems he may have violated the terms of this agreement just one week prior to the upcoming election.

Several users on X/Twitter connected Saint’s posts to his father’s long-standing support for Donald Trump, with reactions such as: “Smart like his father,” “Kanye is so proud right now,” “Kanye so proud of bro,” and “Like father like son.”
