Deyemi Okanlawon, a Nigerian actor, explained in a recent interview how he handled a lady who claimed not to like Nigerian movies.
He stated that after the lady informed him that she does not like Nollywood movies, she asked to take a photograph, which he declined.
Deyemi Okalawon denied the offer to take a picture with her, stating that he does not take Nigerian images.
Going forward, he admitted that he may be petty and that he merely matches her enthusiasm. He also stated that he will not stand by and let someone trash his source of income as an actor.
Deyemi Okanlawon received a lot of support from netizens who considered the lady’s statement disgusting.
