"Month of July ending on a promising note"- Femi Adebayo writes as he bags new achievement

A video interview with Femi Adebayo, a prominent Yoruba movie actor, in which he described slapping his father, Adebayo Salami, better known as Oga Bello, on a movie set, elicited a number of reactions.

The Jagun Jagun hero discussed acting with his father and his experience as a guest on a show.

According to Femi Adebayo, the incident occurred while he was playing a notorious armed robber in the 2008 smash film Taiwo Taiwo, directed by Box Office queen, filmmaker, and actress Funke Akindele.

According to the actor, he broke into a man’s residence to rob his father. When he arrived, he demanded the money they came for, but the man [Oga Bello] refused.

Femi Adebayo stated that he raised his hand subconsciously and landed it on his father’s cheeks. The actor admitted that his actions were not part of the script and expressed regret afterwards. In his defense, he claimed that he committed the act to enhance his portrayal as a notorious armed robber in the film.

Nonetheless, Femi Adebayo, who recently won a piracy lawsuit, admitted that he apologized to his father after the incident. His father, on the other hand, praised him and said that if he hadn’t hit him, he would have gotten in trouble.
