Actor Pete Edochie the ‘Lion of Africa’ clocks 77 in grand style

Nollywood veteran actor Pete Edochie, known as the Lion of Africa, celebrated his year-old milestone on March 7.

The thespian, eager to witness another year, shared photos on Instagram of himself in beautiful outfits, including traditional Yorubas aso-ofi.

Pete Edochie, the father of actor-turned-pastor Yul Edochie, is 77 years old and proudly displays pride in the pictures he has taken.

On Thursday, March 7, Nollywood veteran actor Pete Edochie, aka Lion of Africa, celebrates being one year older.

The actor, who is happy to see another year, turned to Instagram to share photos of himself in exquisite costumes, including aso-ofi, a handwoven cloth that is typical among Yorubas.

Pete Edochie, who turns 77 today, is the father of Yul Edochie, an actor turned pastor. He could be seen beaming with pride in each of the photos.

In a short caption, Pete wrote:
