In other news, Nollywood actor Ugezu J. Ugezu has responded to Nigerian entertainer Noble Igwe’s characterization of Igbo men as affluent yet lacking in class, among other remarks.

Noble Igwe took to his social media platform to criticize certain behaviors exhibited by men, particularly in public settings.

He recounted an incident involving some Igbo men who attempted to disrupt a wedding he was attending.

Igwe noted that a group of wealthy Igbo men arrived late to the event and showed disrespect to the hosts by ignoring the designated seating arrangements.

He also provided examples of Igbo men at another gathering who abandoned their assigned tables to consume food, specifically beans, while seated on chairs.

Igwe expressed his intention to continue addressing the inappropriate conduct of Igbo men until a noticeable change occurs.

In response to Igwe’s remarks regarding Igbo men, actor Ugezu J. Ugezu criticized the entertainer, questioning whether his statements were simply an attempt to gain attention. He further mentioned that he would seek guidance from a shrine concerning Igwe’s comments.

The actor wrote: “Mazi Noble Igwe, please be sure that you are not chasing clout. Be sure that all the allegations you are making against Ndigbo are true. Ifea ga abanyekwa na alusi (This thing will enter the shrine). Adi asikpo obodo asi (They don’t lie on an entire tribe). Adi esi alusi nwelu ibobo ngo”.
