The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) takes action against prominent producer Adamma Luke, suspending films featuring riverine locations indefinitely in the wake of Junior Pope’s death.
It should be noted that tragic news reached out yesterday regarding the horrible and untimely death of Junior Pope, who drowned in a river in Anam, Anambra state.
Following his death, several netizens took to social media to criticise movie producer Adamma Luke for not apparently providing life jackets for the actor.
Following Junior Pope’s death, the AGN took several strong moves.
Among other things, the group has put a moratorium on films set in rivers.
Movie shoot across the nation on Thursday, 11th April have been suspended.
Also, all actors are prohibited from working with Adamma Luke as a producer in any movie.
