Actress Bukky Wright Reveals Why She Stopped Acting In US

Bukky Wright shared her experiences of living outside Nigeria and how she switched careers while in the United States.

Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “I will be practising it (tech) simultaneously with entertainment. The fact that I had to deviate totally from entertainment to tech was something many people thought I would not be able to do. I would tell all my mentees that if I can do it, they can do it too.”

On what she missed the most about Nigeria while away, Wright said, “What I would love to eat again would be proper Naija amala. What I would like to do again would be to act with Nollywood actors.”

The actress assured her fans that she has many thrilling projects lined up for her much-awaited return to Nollywood. She added, “I have a lot for fans, including my project— ‘The Return of Omotara Johnson’, which is coming and a whole lot of other things. I am back to stay.”

Sharing the secret to her timeless beauty, she quipped, “I don’t joke with my beauty sleep.”

During the time his father was mourning his loss, the man was engaged in the secretive endeavor of building a home for him in Nigeria.

He stated, “After enduring years of suffering in a foreign prison, my father thought I was dead, but I was alive. I was secretly constructing a house for him in Nigeria. I felt it necessary to unveil my surprise sooner to enhance his spirit.”
