Actress Caroline Hutchings has publicly criticized the clothing brand Ashluxe following an incident in which the company’s security personnel reportedly sprayed tear gas on her and her colleague, Shan George.
In an Instagram Story shared on Sunday, Caroline recounted that after finishing a photoshoot, she and Shan were waiting for a ride outside Ashluxe’s premises in Lekki, Lagos, when they were approached by the security staff, who demanded that they vacate the area.
The actress claimed that the security guards used tear gas on them without any prior warning.
Describing the distressing experience, she stated, “After spraying the tear gas, you still went around my car to spray Aunty Shan, then still sprayed inside my car while I was sitting in it, and then still went to bring gun.
“Aunty Shan, who was in the car minding her biz cause she was tired, was also baptized because a power-drunk human walked around my car to go spray her. Everything happened so fast; I was scared cause I thought he was coming around to shoot.
“Like this is how people get shot. Imagine if I was alone with a faulty car. My police was also sprayed even when he was begging for calmness. I had to call him back to the car.”
Carolyna asserted that Ashluxe would be held responsible for the incident.
She had previously shared videos of the confrontation, emphasizing her determination to pursue justice for the harm inflicted.
