Nigerian actress Dayo Amusa is celebrating a significant milestone in her journey as a mother, as her son, Oluwafirewamiri Abdulrasheed, turns four months old.
The movie star welcomed her first child on November 18, 2024, in a United States hospital at the age of 41. Expressing her joy, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the past 120 days, describing them as a magical experience filled with love and gratitude.
Sharing adorable photos of her son, Amusa wrote:
“OLUWAFIREWAMIRI ABDULRASHEED
Today marks four months—120 days of happiness, with a lifetime ahead. Watching you grow, one giggle at a time, is the greatest adventure of my life.
You are our treasure, a wonderful gift from God. As we celebrate this milestone, may your life be richly blessed with wisdom, grace, and favor. We remain grateful for God’s blessings and grace. We love you, papa bear.”
On the eve of 2025, Amusa opened up about her deeply personal struggle with infertility. She revealed the challenges she faced before becoming a mother, including multiple miscarriages, failed IVF attempts, and serious health complications. She disclosed that in 2015, she was diagnosed with uterine myomatosis, which led doctors to recommend the removal of her womb. Despite these hurdles, she persevered, overcoming heartbreak and disappointment before finally welcoming her son at 41.
Her journey serves as an inspiring testament to resilience, faith, and the joy of motherhood.
