Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao has expressed her enthusiasm over receiving a nomination for the AMVCA.

According to Gistlover, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards organizers revealed the nominees for the 2025 edition of the prestigious awards on Sunday, March 23rd.

These nominations, which encompass film, television, and digital content, honor works released from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

Eniola Ajao’s film, Beast of Two Worlds, released in 2024, has been nominated for Best Sound/Sound Design, competing against Lateef Adedimeji’s Lisabi, Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors, and others.

In an Instagram story, Eniola conveyed that this nomination holds significant importance for her, sharing her joy at the recognition of her work. The movie star, who is currently promoting her second cinema film, remarked that this is merely the beginning of her journey.

“AMVCA nomination for Beast of Two Worlds is a big deal to me!!

I’m happy my work got recognition. This is just the beginning”.

In other news, Uche Montana, a Nollywood actress, was overcome with emotion after being nominated for Best Lead Actress at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

She received the nomination for her role in Thin Line, competing against Chioma Chukwuka (Seven Doors), Gbubemi Ejeye (Farmer’s Bride), Uzoamaka Onuoha (Agemo), Uzoamaka Aniunoh (Phoenix Fury), Hilda Dokubo (Wives on Strike 3), and Bimbo Ademoye (Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre) in a tough category.

Upon learning of her nomination, Uche posted a video on her Instagram story, filled with joy and disbelief. She shouted in excitement, clearly thrilled by the recognition.

Montana expressed her gratitude to the film’s producer, Mercy Aigbe, for believing in her and giving her the chance to shine. She also thanked the entire team behind Thin Line for their contributions to the project’s success.
