    • FilmOne Entertainment announced the latest update on March 30, 2024, on its Instagram verified page.
    • “Ajakaju,” a cinema movie by Eniola Ajao, was released nationwide on March 29th, 2024, following a trending online conversation and award for Best Dressed Female.

Eniola Ajao, a popular Nollywood actress, made history with her FIRST movie, “Ajakaju” – Beasts of Two Worlds, grossing a record-breaking 16 million in cinemas on the first day.

FilmOne Entertainment announced the newest developments today, March 30, 2024, via its verified page on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram.

Recall that the cinema film, “Ajakaju,” produced by Eniola Ajao, was released nationwide on Friday, March 29th, 2024, after the movie became one of the trending topics online after organizers awarded Bobrisky the Best Dressed Female at the movie premiere on Sunday, March 24th, and she was also given N1 million.

However, many people, like Dayo Amusa and Portable, were upset by the announcement, and they dragged Bobrisky over the prize. Femi Adebayo was also called out for proclaiming Bobrisky as the winner.

The situation went on to the point when Portable and Bobrisky berated each other on social media, prompting Eniola Ajao to intervene.

According to Eniola, Bobrisky was given the Best Dressed Female award in order to increase the popularity of the film, and she stressed that this was a planned gesture.

She pleaded Nigerians for forgiveness, revealing that she spent more than N200 million on the film, having sold her cars, land, and houses to fund it.

In an emotional video, Eniola Ajao pulls a U-Turn as she reveals new winners for the female Best Dressed who would each earn N1 million.

“To Bobrisky, I offer my sincere apologies for putting you in a difficult position. The decision to award you was never meant to cause harm or controversy but was rather a misguided attempt to generate publicity for our movie. I am truly sorry for any distress this may have caused you.

“In an effort to make amends and correct my mistakes, I have decided to honor Papaya Ex and Iyabo Ojo as the best-dressed females at the premiere. Each will receive a sum of N1,000,000(One Million Naira) as a token of my sincere apology and appreciation for their grace and elegance.”

In an Instagram post today, FilmOne Entertainment says that the film grossed N16 million in cinemas within 24 hours after its premiere.

However, as of the time of filling, the film “Ajakaju” has the biggest opening day for a 2024 release.

Responding to this, Odunlade Adekola wrote; “We think it’s time to change the Dictionary word for SUCCESS to FILMONE. . Thank Nigeria 🇳🇬 UNA TOO MUCH!!!!!! . #Ajakaju is still showing in cinemas Nationwide. Trust us when we say it’s worth the watch!!!.”
