Prominent Nollywood actress Akinyanju Arike, widely recognized as Eyinju Eledumare, has expressed her frustrations regarding perceived hypocrisy within the Yoruba film industry on her official Instagram account.

In a passionate message, the typically composed actress addressed an unnamed individual whom she had previously honored publicly. She noted that while this person acknowledged her gesture in private, they chose to disregard her public tribute.

This behavior, which she claims has become increasingly common, led her to deliver a pointed critique.

Eyinju Eledumare condemned her peers for what she characterized as insincere conduct. She voiced her dissatisfaction with those who hesitate to publicly recognize her support out of fear of potential backlash from others.

In her message, she emphasized that her public accolades are sincere and not driven by a desire for friendship or reconciliation. The actress stated:

“Posting you and writing how I feel about you doesn’t mean I want closure. I am not famzing anybody, I am not looking forward to being your friend… I learn to express how I feel about people in a positive light without motives.”

The actress also cautioned against private acknowledgments, urging individuals to either publicly recognize her posts or request their removal if they have concerns.

She criticized those who engage with her posts in a hypocritical manner or avoid interaction altogether due to past issues.

Eyinju Eledumare concluded her message with a firm warning: “This one no be meme or post to delete. You move anyhow, you see anyhow ooo. Unah too dey push person.”
