Actress Georgina Onuoha breaks silence, announces dad's death

Georgina Onuoha, a popular Nigerian actress, is heartbroken by the death of her loving father.

She revealed the sad news on her Instagram page, noting that her late father served in the Nigerian Army for 36 years and fought in the Biafran War.

She wrote;

”It is with a heavy heart and a deep sense of sorrow that I announce the death of my loving dad, hero, teacher, and war veteran who served 36 years in the Nigerian Army as a senior officer and fought so many wars across Africa including the Biafran war.

My dad lived a good life. He was an honest man, so disciplined and extremely intelligent. Dad was an educator, and his forte was history and philosophy. He was a long life leaner and every encounter with my dad was a teaching moment to impact knowledge. Dad would have been 88 this December 💔💔💔😭😭😭. Please put my family in your daily prayers as we navigate this difficult time” .

In other news, Singer Waje Iruobe highlighted a significant lesson she learnt in 2024, emphasizing the value of personal development and emotional intelligence.

In a rare family photo with her daughter on Instagram, Waje stated that making substantial life choices to better oneself will surely irritate others.

She observed that people who are reluctant to change frequently do not want others to change, but it is critical to remember that their discomfort is not their problem.

Waje urged followers to take responsibility for their choices rather than blaming themselves for others’ responses.

Waje emphasized the value of gratitude, calling it the healthiest human emotion.

“My Biggest lesson of 2024 so far is……When you decide to make serious life changes to improve your life and health, it is almost inevitable that you will ruffle someone’s feathers. People who aren’t ready to change don’t want others to either. Remember that this is their problem, not yours, so don’t blame yourself for their choices, but be responsible for yours.

“Emotional intelligence is a gift that keeps giving; my decision to look the other way in silence for a TIME isn’t a sign of weakness. Gratitude is the healthiest form of all human emotions. @emeraldogochukwu is a stunner”.
