Actress Ini Dima Okojie says goodbye to rice, bread, meat, and other in her fight against fibroids

• Nollywood actress Ini Dima Okojie has shared her experience with fans as she works to get rid of her fibroids.

• In a recent video, the actress listed some of her favourite foods that she has to eliminate for the sake of her health

• Dima’s long list of popular food items made netizens curious wondering what was left for her to eat.

Nigerian actress Ini Dima Okojie shared that she has had to eliminate certain foods from her diet due to her fibroids. She recently opened up about her health issues on social media, mentioning that she had surgery three years ago to remove her fibroids, but they returned.

In a recent TikTok update, she mentioned that she is embarking on a holistic path to help reduce her fibroids by eliminating specific foods from her diet.

The actress revealed many items she had to leave behind for the sake of her health, including rice, meat, bread, caffeine, pasta, noodles, and more.

In her words: “So I’m currently on a holistic journey to shrink fibroids. That means I have to go on what I call a fibroids diet and these are some of the things I’ve had to give up. Red meat, so lamb, cow, ram, goat, sausages, processed meat, any form of red meat. White carbs, so white pasta, noodles, rice, bread. Dairy, so cheese, whole milk. Refined sugar, so cookies, cake, condiments, processed food in general. Carbonated drinks, caffeine, high sodium foods like soy, things that are really high in salt.”

Okojie shared her reasons for cutting out some of her Favorite dishes. She noted that they contain high levels of estrogen and could lead to the growth of her fibroids.

She said: “We are avoiding these things because they are high in estrogen and you don’t want that because those make the fibroids grow. All of these are useless if you’re not keeping your stress levels down, but I live in Lagos, God help me.”

The actress’ revelation about some of the foods she had to stop eating because of her fibroids went viral online, causing a lot of reactions from fans. Some of them questioned what was left for her to eat.
