Actress Ivie Okujaiye Egboh has shared her experience of being criticized by certain government officials for what they deemed “inappropriate attire” during her visit to their office.

Ivie recounted that upon her arrival at the public office, she was approached by the women present, who questioned her choice of clothing.

‘’Why are you dressed like that? Don’t you know you are coming to a government office?”

Ivie expressed her belief that her outfit was appropriate, as she was wearing a dress that nearly reached her ankles paired with sneakers. She noted that the officials further probed whether she would wear the same outfit if she were to meet the President. Despite her explanation that she typically dresses in a similar manner, the women continued to convey their disapproval.

To her astonishment, after reprimanding her, they requested that she provide them with some money.
