Actress Iyabo Ojo has officially announced the cast for her upcoming film, Labake Olododo.
On Thursday, she shared a video on her Instagram account introducing the talented ensemble cast.
The cast features several notable figures from Nollywood, including Mercy Aigbe, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Fathia Balogun, Broda Shaggi, Muka Ray, Wumi Toriola, and Iyabo herself.
In her post, she expressed her heartfelt appreciation, stating, “The long-awaited day has finally arrived! I am filled with gratitude for my remarkable cast and crew.
“Thank you for being part of this epic cinematic journey, Labake Olododo. Your hard work and dedication mean the world to me.
“To my amazing fans, please tag your favorite cast members and show them some love. Let them know how much their efforts are appreciated.
“And to my crew members, your love and support have made this journey unforgettable. Thank you all for your tireless efforts. Let the journey begin!”
To commemorate this announcement, Iyabo Ojo hosted a special gathering for the cast and crew at her Fespris Studio in Lekki, Lagos.
Earlier in June, the actress revealed her return to film production after a break, indicating that Labake Olododo would be her first film release in several years.
Directed by Biodun Stephen, the film is a collaborative project involving executive producers Iyabo Ojo, Filmone Studios, and Alaba Ultimate.
The release date has yet to be announced.
