Nigerian actress Jinad Habibat Adunni, popularly known as Realomojinad, has made a heartfelt appeal to her colleagues in the movie industry, calling for more support for up-and-coming actors and actresses.
Sharing her thoughts via Instagram, the actress emphasized how crucial it is for established stars to lend a helping hand to new talents in Nollywood. According to her, this kind of support can make a significant difference in shaping the careers of aspiring entertainers.
Realomojinad highlighted the challenges faced by filmmakers when trying to cast top actors, pointing out that many of them are either fully booked or currently out of the country. She referenced a friend who has been struggling to find a well-known actor to fill a major role that spans 30 scenes.
She noted that while the demand for popular faces is high, the availability of these stars is often limited — posing a serious hurdle for producers and rising actors alike. Her message resonated with many in the industry, sparking discussions about the need for greater collaboration and inclusivity in Nollywood.
Taking to her Instagram page, Realomojinad wrote:
“Hello everyone!
Supporting new talent in the film industry can go a long way. Honestly, getting your favorite actors for a project can be challenging. A friend of mine is producing a movie and has been searching for someone to play a significant role with 30 scenes. However, many actors are either already booked or currently outside Nigeria.
Let’s encourage and celebrate new faces in the industry! Who knows, we might just discover the next big star.

She captioned the Instagram post with:
“For the love of God let’s support new talent please.”
