Nollywood actress Lala Akindoju is grieving the loss of her father, Chief Williams Akindoju, who passed away at the age of 71.

Taking to Instagram, Lala expressed the deep sorrow of concluding 2024 without her father, whom she described as a present and loving parent.

“Sometimes, you think you’re ready, but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a present and loving parent like my daddy,” she wrote. “Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy.”

The actress also shared a memorial graphic in his honor, revealing that Chief Akindoju passed away on December 20, 2024. While the cause of death remains undisclosed, the loss has left a significant void in the family.
