Tonto Dikeh, a Nigerian actress, is the latest celebrity to speak out on social media about the popular End Bad Governance protest.

On the appointed day of the protest, August 1, 2024, the movie diva and APC politician took to her official Instagram profile to upload a photo of statistics indicating how things had improved in the country since Bola Ahmed Tinubu became president.

Tonto captioned the picture, stating that statistics do not lie and that everyone is working to make the country a better place.

Speaking further, the Nollywood actress stated that once Nigerians dislike someone, they will constantly deny obvious truths. in her words:

“Statistics don’t lie: everyone is working to get this country to where we want it to be. One thing about Nigerians is that if they don’t like you, nothing you do will ever be good enough for them. Let’s not deny this glaring truth. Stay safe and make wise decisions always.”
