“Adam did not eat apple in the Bible” – Pastor David Ibiyeomie explains why God banished Adam from paradise

  • Pastor David Ibiyeomie stirred up discussions online by stating that God did not expel Adam from paradise for eating an apple.
  • The Old Testament tells us that Adam and Eve lived in paradise without sin until the serpent tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit.

In a recent video, Pastor David Ibiyeomie stirred up discussions online by stating that God did not expel Adam from paradise for eating an apple.

The Old Testament tells us that Adam and Eve lived in paradise without sin until the serpent tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit. As a result of their disobedience, they were cast out of Paradise.

However, Pastor Ibiyeomie argues that Adam was not banished for eating an apple, but rather for touching his tithe.

He explained that the tithe is what belongs to God, and Adam was allowed to touch everything in the garden except for what was God’s.

@fikunademii: The biblical story of Adam eating the forbidden fruit is found in Genesis 3. In the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. However, the serpent, often interpreted as Satan, tempted Eve by saying that eating the fruit would make them like God, knowing good and evil. Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, who also ate. As a result, their eyes were opened, and they realized they were naked. This act of disobedience brought sin into the world, leading to their expulsion from the garden and the introduction of suffering, toil, and death. An alternative, logical interpretation could be that the story symbolizes humanity’s journey toward self-awareness and moral responsibility. The fruit represents knowledge, and the act of eating it could signify the transition from innocence to experience. It’s a meaningful allegory for the consequences of choices and the complexity of human nature.

@sneezemankind: There’s a portion of the Bible that actually condemns changing or twisting any portion of the Bible.

@7figureboss: I do not have an issue with these men. (Cos this is their means of livelihood)The real problem is with the people who sit and cheer them on, always ready to defend and insult anyone who points out the truth. I can’t entirely blame them, because—most of them lack self-worth and self-confidence. As a result, they feel the need to connect with God through another human, which is why they end up worshiping men like this. ✌🏼.

@princedicksonn: Tithe in the Garden of Eden? Eve gave Adam Tithe and after eating it, their eyes opened Nice one, let’s continue.

@chefdeee: If some pastors hold laptops😂 Oyinbo will cry 😭 format Opooor 😅.

@calebinspired_: .

Tithe in this contest as explained is what belongs to God.. in order word what he’s saying is that God gave Adam ability to touch anything in the garden except that which was His own . He only used tithe as adjective to explain that which is subjective to a figure of speech .. The fill sermon is best listened to for full understanding . Selah✌️.

@timeless_studio247: The Bible was explicit when it comes to tithe. In fact there is a verse of the Bible that tells us to eat and enjoy our tithe ourselves (deutronomy 14:22-29 “ 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns” This is the Bible and why are they not preaching or teaching it.
