Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga has recounted some of his fond memories with his late mother.
Sharing slides of photos he took with his mum on his verified Instagram page, Saga wrote, “
“I remember when you were ill and I told my friends that if you died, I’d run mad, I didn’t think I’d survive it. That’s how close we were.
It’s funny now but then, to some I was your small husband and to others I was mummys’ boy. Either ways I know you are my first love and for 21 years you taught and equipped me with all I’ll need to face the world.
8 years and I still remember you whispering to me during service “Ade go and buy tooth brush now and brush your teeth, your mouth is smelling”. You were so present as a mother I can still hear you in my head guiding me on what and what not to.
There’s so many memories to pull from but I just want the world to know today that I was raised by a Super human, a warrior and someone that would literally give it all for me and my sister to smile.
In so many ways now i believe I’m getting to understand how u see life. You always tried to be happy, spark up any room you enter, talk and dance at any chance you get, work as though you had no options and play as though your life depended on it, more importantly you believed strongly in a life of servitude and generally making sacrifices for others and I am who I am because of all these values.
I miss you and I hope I’m making you proud.
Forever in my heart.
