The prayer ground of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), which was founded by Revered Father Ejike Mbaka, was not set ablaze.
Fake videos had circulated earlier today with the false claims.
Earlier yesterday, social media users began to share a video which they claimed showed the prayer ground of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN) being set ablaze.
The video has been shared thousand of times on social media and gained lot of views. A check by GistLover has shown that the claims are false.
A search on YouTube revealed the original version of the video where it was uploaded on Thursday by EVideos TV, the clip also seems to have been recorded in Enugu state, as a person can be heard saying;
“Enugu north is on fire. Who say people no go protest,” suggesting it was a recent event that took place amid the #EndSARS protests.
A reverse Google image search of the thumbnail images from the clip, also showed pictures similar to that of Enugu north LGA headquarters located at 45 Okpara Ave, GRA, though we could not ascertain if that structure was caught in flames recently.
