Nkechi Blessing, an actress in Nollywood, has supported Adunni Ade, a colleague of hers.

According to GISTLOVER, the actress was publicly slammed by the late actor Murphy Afolabi’s burial committee for owing him money.

Adunni Ade, for her part, denied the allegations by claiming that she had given back Murphy Afolabi’s money before his death.

Nkechi Blessing defended her, saying that when someone disliked in the film industry, others in positions of authority will stop at nothing to pull them down.

However, she is happy that man is not God.

“If they don hate person for that their industry they will go to any length to see that person fall. Thank God say man no be God…. It’s well!”.

Joining Nkechi Blessing, Adewunmi Fatia and Alesh Sanni had weighed into the debt claims.

Alesh Sanni wrote, “Just imagine but why… Haba now

Adewunmi Fatia wrote, “I don fight tired rubbish”.

“Refund the N250,000 he sent to you” – Murphy Afolabi’s burial committee call out Adunni Ade

Adunni Ade, a Nigerian actress, has come under fire for allegedly owing late actor Murphy Afolabi money.

Afolabi’s colleagues organized an 8-day Fidau prayer in his honor, which is a day reserved for extra prayers for the departed, eight days following his passing.

Muslim clerics were called to preach to the living and offer prayers for the deceased while also collecting money for his family and children.

The late actor’s burial committee called out Adunni Ade during the Fidau Prayer, claiming that before his untimely death, Murphy Afolabi had given the actress N250,000 for a part in his future film.

They pleaded with her to return the funds.

A night of tributes organised in Murphy’s honour by his colleagues was held on Sunday, May 21.

Murphy died on May 14 after a fall in the bathroom at his Ikorodu home. He was buried on Monday, May 15 at his home.
