The premier pan-African banking organization, Ecobank, has been named the official sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to be held in Côte d’Ivoire in 2023 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Ecobank and CAF will work together to provide athletes and fans throughout Africa with an incredible and unforgettable experience during this significant football competition, which begins on January 13 and ends on February 14, 2024.
“The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON highlights the pride Africans across the world feel during the matches. We are proud to associate Ecobank with CAF to contribute to the success of TotalEnergies AFCON Côte d’Ivoire 2023,” said Jeremy Awori, Chief Executive Officer, Ecobank Group.
Awori went on to underline how AFCON’s spirit and Ecobank’s mission are in perfect harmony, saying, “It unites communities, fully aligning with Ecobank’s commitment to drive regional integration.” It is a privilege for Ecobank to be a major player in uniting millions of Africans to pursue their shared love of football while ensuring that devoted patrons gain from the experience.
Ecobank will provide special chances for its clients to take part in the AFCON excitement as an Official Sponsor. Consumers throughout the bank’s wide geographic reach will be entered to win tickets to see the matches in person in Côte d’Ivoire, where they will be able to feel firsthand the fervor and excitement of this pan-African festival.
“Look out for AFCON promotions and adverts in your markets or at your Ecobank affiliates’ official social media pages,” encouraged Awori.
