Stanley Nwabali, the goalie for the Nigerian Super Eagles, has been in the news when a video of him taking an ice bath went viral.
Nigerians have responded to the viral video posted on the goalkeeper’s TikTok account in a big way.
Nwabali was seen cooling down in an ice-filled white bathtub in the widely shared video.
Ice baths are shown to lessen pain, inflammation, and tightness in the muscles as well as increase attentiveness.
Before the AFCON finals match versus Ivory Coast, the goalie had an ice bath.
Unfortunately, Ivory Coast prevailed against Nigeria in the game and took home the AFCON trophy.
