AFCON: Ghana national team bus vandalized by angry fans after their elimination

Fans who were upset over the Black Stars of Ghana being eliminated from the African Cup of Nations 2023 vandalized their team bus in Cote d’Ivoire after the team was eliminated from the competition.

The incident took place after Ghana’s defeat to Mozambique in their final group-stage encounter, which concluded in a 2-2 draw Friday night. Ghana’s performance in that match was disappointing.

However, Ghana was unable to obtain the victory that they needed in order to move on to the next stage of the competition.

Egypt and the Cape Verde Islands were able to advance to the next round in Group B, but Ghana and Mozambique were eliminated from the competition.
