The wife of Mr. Ibu stated that she had made numerous attempts to contact Emeka Rollas, the president of AGN, but he had not returned her calls or texts. It was difficult for her to comprehend why they were now coming forward to take credit for things that they had not done.
The better half of Mr. Ibu, Stella Maris Okafor, has come out swinging at the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), claiming they have been spinning a tale of falsehoods about how supportive they were of her husband before his health problems began.
According to GISTLOVER, Mr. Ibu had to celebrate his 63rd birthday at an undisclosed hospital because he is presently battling illness.
Following the release of hospital recordings on the internet that appeared to show Mr. Ibu asking for donations, several internet users said the guild had abandoned its own.
On Friday, October 20, however, the AGN’s director of communications, Kate Henshaw, issued a statement in which she said the guild had never deserted him or any of its members.
Stella, Mr. Ibu’s wife, responded to their claims by claiming—in a video that social media critic VeryDarkMan shared—that the guild’s official statement was a blatant attempt to save their reputation.
She revealed that prior to her husband’s health problem, she had not received any support from the union and that she had made no effort to get in touch with the Actors Guild.
The wife of Mr. Ibu stated that she had made numerous attempts to contact Emeka Rollas, the president of AGN, but he had not returned her calls or texts. It was difficult for her to comprehend why they were now coming forward to take credit for things that they had not done.
Stella mentioned that it was only after she publicly appealed for support that Emeka Rollas and Kate Henshaw finally showed up at the hospital to visit her husband in his sickbed.
She tore into Kate Henshaw for deliberately deceiving both her and the public with her blatantly false statement.
