The fake video caused a lot of buzz online, leading many people to suspect Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, or their associates, as the creators of the unsettling deepfake.
As the situation started to cool off, a new AI-generated video emerged. It featured Judy Austin kneeling before a seated May Edochie.
The video went viral fast, with a caption that hinted Judy was pleading for May’s forgiveness.
Many believed this was a retaliatory action, said to be organized by May Edochie’s backers as a direct response to the earlier deepfake featuring AY.
