Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar has made serious allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of corruption and mistreatment of women.
In a recent interview with journalist Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie on the program Untold Stories, Atiku openly criticized Akpabio’s political record. A viral clip from the interview captures Atiku branding the Senate President as “corrupt,” asserting that Akpabio exhibited such behavior during his tenure as governor.
Beyond financial misconduct, Atiku further alleged that Akpabio has a history of abusing women, though he did not provide specific instances during the conversation.
The clip has since generated widespread reactions across social media, igniting debates about accountability and integrity in Nigerian politics.
“I was not surprised because I know the leadership is corrupt, and I do not apologize. They could do anything. The Senate President is known for such behavior, even during his tenure as governor. He was corrupt when he was a governor. Not only was he corrupt but he was also in the habit of abusing women“. Atiku said during the interview.

In other news, Nigerian actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, have recently come under scrutiny following allegations of a private health concern. Media personality Destiny Ezeyim, popularly known as Radiogad, shared a video suggesting that the couple might be dealing with an infection.
