Algeria to Supply Electricity to Niger Republic for Free – Adamu Garba confirmed

Adamu Garba, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has claimed that Algeria has decided to provide free electricity to Niger Republic.

According to Gistlover, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) turned off the country’s electricity supply.

Adam Umar El-yandiski, Public Relations Officer for the TUC Kano State sub-region, verified the news to Channels Television over the phone.

According to him, the connection that feeds power to the Niger Republic is straight from the national grid, and thus has no connection with the provision of power to any region of the country.

The move was part of a campaign to put pressure on the country’s coup leaders.

Garba, on the other hand, announced on Friday via his Twitter account that Niger has obtained an alternative power supply

According to the APC stalwart, Niger will now receive power supply from Algeria.

He wrote, “Algeria is to supply electricity to Niger Republic for free.
