Kate Henshaw, also credited as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall, is a Nigerian actress. In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Kate has reacted to the post of an Abia state politician, on the issue of rape which has now become the matter on ground.
The force at which people rise to put up a post pertaining to issues that affects the world is good, but it becomes a thing of ridicule when these things being said are not worth making a good sense from.
Hours ago, a politician named Obey Ezeala from Abia state took to his Facebook page to say that; All Victims of rape also play a part in the circumstances they find themselves in.
This has not been taken lightly by majority of Nigerians as they questioned his place of power in government. Popular A-list actress Kate Henshaw, has also reacted to the claims of the Abia state politician.
Kate who was a onetime aspiring politician said the man just exposed himself. As a politician she could be talking about the downside strategies of the APC. This is also enough for the public to hold against him.
As a woman and a mother, she surely knows that what the politician had said was not good enough. In Nigeria, Raped victims have ranged from few days old babies to aged adults.
If a politician like Obey Ezeala could generalize all raoed victims to have a part in it, this simply means that even the few days old babies played a role in it.
