In a recent online video, Stanley Ontop suggested that the conflict arose after a married man sent ₦1 million to Destiny Etiko following her leg surgery, a gesture she publicly acknowledged.

Stanley Ontop further stated that the married man had a five-year relationship with Queeneth Hilbert, a fact well-known within the Nollywood community.
