American rapper T.I. arrested in alleged case of mistaken identity at Atlanta airport

T.I., a popular American rapper, was arrested at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday night after being mistaken for another person.

A warrant had been issued for T.I.’s real name, Clifford Harris, who was wanted in Baltimore, Maryland. The suspect is wanted for allegedly engaging in violent behavior toward a woman, including stalking and maybe using a firearm.

T.I. was taken from the airport to the Clayton County Jail. Because the warrant was issued from out of state, the arrest resulted in an automatic extradition hearing.

Steve Sadow, T.I.’s attorney, informed TMZ that he called the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office and had him freed within two hours after his arrest.

The judge reviewed and dismissed the extradition order. Clifford Harris, the sought man, reportedly weighs 205 pounds, whereas T.I. weighs 165 pounds.

The complaint was filed on June 13, this year.

In other news, Celebrities have stormed a boat cruise in celebration of famed Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky’s release from prison.

According to Gistlover, Bobrisky was sentenced for three months after pleading guilty to naira mutilation following his detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC.

Bobrisky was granted his release on Monday, August 5, 2024.

However, a few hours following his discharge, a release party was held to congratulate him.

In a series of videos published on social media by @goldmynetv, the crossdresser was joined by some of his celebrity pals while partying on the boat cruise.

The popular video features socialite Lady Golfer as well as two Nigerian actresses, Eniola Ojao and Moyo Lawal.
