American rappers, Kodak Black, Lil Durk mourn Mohbad

Kodak Black’s tribute to Mohbad was particularly touching, as he used Instagram Live to connect with his fans and share his sorrow.

He said that he only discovered Mohbad’s social media sites a few days before his death and was blown away by the young rapper’s talent and promise.

He said:

“R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak you were his neighborhood hero till he passing. Damn!

“What’s so crazy right now is I just ran across this n*gga’s page this week -few days ago.

“Sleep well wherever you are, man.”

Lil Durk also joined Kodak Black in expressing his grief over Mohbad’s untimely passing.

The rapper, who has himself experienced the loss of many friends and colleagues in the industry, paid his respect to the late singer via his Instagram and X handle.

He wrote:

“RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”
