  • Rotimi has revealed that his former record label head 50 Cent, earned $300,000 from a single Afrobeat track.
    • Rotimi,was signed to 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records before being let go.
    • In a recent recording, he shared that after his release from G-Unit, they struck a new deal.

Rotimi Akinosho, known simply as Rotimi, is a Nigerian American singer and actor. He revealed that his former recordhead, Curtis James Jackson III, or 50 Cent, earned $300,000 from a single Afrobeat track.

Rotimi, who got engaged to a Tanzanian singer a few years back, was signed to 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records before being let go.

In a recent recording, he shared that after his release from G-Unit, they struck a new deal.

He was required to send a certain amount of his earnings from various platforms to his former employer because he owed him $300,000.

After he released a song, the music star, who had a clash with Idris Abdul-Kareem, called him and said he would start a feud to promote Rotimi’s new track.

50 Cent went on to give an interview where he mentioned Rotimi’s debt to him and his exit from the record label. Rotimi’s song topped the charts and held that position for a few days.

In the recording, Rotimi expressed his fear due to everything 50 Cent said about them.

Despite this, his song became popular, and he heard it playing everywhere for a few days.

Rotimi also noted that 50 Cent made $300 from that controversy.
