AMVCA organizers called out for always snubbing Destiny Etiko, Yul Edochie, others

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) organizers have been criticized for failing to recognize some actors on a yearly basis, including Yul Edochie, Junior Pope, Destiny Etiko, and others.

This follows the ninth edition of the AMVCA event, which took place between the 18th and 20th of May 2023 at Eko Hotels in Lagos.

A Twitter user known as @Ssonofman used the microblogging platform to highlight how Multichoice never pays attention to some Nollywood celebrities.

“Destiny Etiko and Eze Ndiala no de ever win AMVCA award. Why?” the user wrote.

This was followed by a series of reactions, some of which justified the reasons while others corroborated the claims.
