Reno Omokri, a former adviser to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, expressed that making friends at work is a bad idea.
He posted this on his verified X account on Monday.
He thinks that the workplace should prioritize making money rather than forming friendships.
He remarked that it doesn’t matter what is written in an employment letter; employees are expected to follow their bosses’ instructions, as long as they are lawful and moral.
He stressed that the path to making money in the office lies in making the boss happy, rather than seeking personal or team satisfaction.
“There’s no democracy in an office, there’s only hierarchy,” he stated.
