Senator Ben Bruce has urged Nigeria’s anti-graft agencies, the EFCC and ICPC to urgently refund the N10m donated to them by the embattled Kano State governor, Umar Ganduje.
The governor has been in the news lately following the release of several videos that allegedly shows him receiving bribe in dollars from a contractor.
According to Ben Bruce, ‘I call on the EFCC and the ICPC to do the honorable thing and return Ganduje’s ‘donation’ to him. That donation is an insult. In fact, if the money is not returned to him, it should be used to hire a private prosecutor to try him’.
