Annie Macaulay, the former wife of renowned musician 2Baba Idibia, has finally addressed their divorce after maintaining silence for some time.
Previously, 2Baba took to Instagram—before deleting the post—to announce their split, igniting widespread discussions on social media. The conversation intensified further when the singer revealed his engagement to Natasha Osawaru, a legislator in the Edo State House of Assembly.
In a recent interview, Annie opened up about her decision to stay silent regarding the separation. She shared that she took time to reflect, heal, and embrace the lessons that came with love, pain, and personal growth.
The socialite also highlighted her commitment to moving forward with grace, prioritizing her personal development, her children’s well-being, and her future endeavors.
Her words, “Silence isn’t weakness it’s peace. Since my divorce from Innocent Idibia, I chose to step back, reflect, and heal away from the noise. The truth is, not everything needs to be explained, and not every battle is meant to be fought in public”.
“Love, pain, lessons, and growth all come with life’s journey. I have embraced mine with grace, focusing on myself, my children, and the future ahead. Sometimes, silence speaks louder than words”.
