Nigerian music jockey Obianuju Catherine Udeh, also known as DJ Switch, confronted Pastor Adeboye about his hypocritical behavior.
The well-known disc jockey observed how the founder of The Redeemed Christian Church constantly exhorts Nigerians to pray for the nation while failing to identify the root of the nation’s problems.
She stressed once more that the cleric quickly requests prayers rather than criticizing the government for doing its job.
She noted how people frequently assert that clerics should not be touched because of their anointing and emphasized how Jesus consistently denounced corruption.
“She wrote: “Pastor Adeboye constantly urging Nigerians to pray for Nigeria… but rarely calls out the cause of Nigeria’s woes! Rarely calls them out for a failure to serve. The Jesus you worship served and called out corruption point blank! Some of una go say touch not my anointed! Anointing wey no dey anoint.”
This is coming hours after Pastor Enoch Adeboye had prayed for healing in Nigeria, during the October Thanksgiving Service and Nigeria’s 63rd Independent Day celebration at the church’s headquarters in Ebutte Metta.
This isn’t the first time, DJ Switch, has blasted Pastor Adeboye.
“Daddy has now found his voice” – DJ Switch ridicules Pst. Adeboye for saying God will help Tinubu fix Nigeria
DJ Switch, a Nigerian activist and disc jockey, made mockery of Pastor Adeboye for suggesting that God would aid President-elect Bola Tinubu in fixing Nigeria.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), remarked on Bola Tinubu’s victory, claiming that God will help the next president in rebuilding the nation.
At the regular Thanksgiving service held at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute-Metta, his Special Assistant, Pastor Dele Balogun, said this.
In response to Pastor Adeboye’s remark, DJ Switch slammed the man of God on her Twitter page, adding that Pastor Adeboye did not raise his voice to denounce his closest friend’s party, the APC, while it subjected the populace to enduring repression and violence.
She tweeted, “Daddy Adeboye seems to have found the voice he lost when Nigerians were suffering suppression and violence from his best friends in the APC! Now god wants to help Tinubu fix Nigeria? One day, una go show us the particular god wey una dey refer to!
Know for yourself!”
