Tomama, a popular comedienne, speaks out against how some people use philanthropy to cover up their wrongdoings.
In an Instagram post, she stated that one of the quickest ways to win over Nigerians is to give them gifts.
She believed that many people will engage in philanthropic activities and capture it for the of the world to see.
People find it difficult to criticize someone who does things like this, regardless of what he or she has done.
Tomama went on to say that all philanthropic deeds involving a camera already have an agenda.

“You see Nigerians eh, to deceive them & gain their love just pretend to be a Help the poor, do back to back giveaway, help clear some hospital bill, & don’t forget to publicize it while at they never forget to though W) & Boom… you’re loved and you can do no wrong in the poor masses eyes, even if you k’ somebody them go defend you Ps: To me any good when camera don involve gete own agenda”
