Apostle Anslem Shares How Eezee Conceptz Sabotaged Peaceful Resolution with Mercy Chinwo and Judikay

• Eezee Tee refuted defrauding Mercy and defended her allegations against him, claiming to have given Mercy over $624,000 during her time under his label.

The ongoing fraud case involving Ezekiel ThankGod Onyedikachukwu, widely recognized as Eezee Tee, continues to attract attention as additional eyewitnesses come forward with further details regarding the allegations.

Previously, GistLover reported on the fraud case that includes gospel artists Judikay and Mercy Chinwo alongside Eezee Tee.

In response to the accusations, Eezee Tee denied defrauding Mercy Chinwo and criticized her claims against him. He asserted that he had provided Mercy with over $624,000 during her tenure with his label, emphasizing that their agreement was based on a 50/50% contract and that he had never misappropriated any of her royalties.

Apostle Anslem Madubuko of Revival Assembly Church in Lagos has also commented on the situation, stating that Eezee Tee’s denial of wrongdoing towards Mercy Chinwo is untrue and that the dispute has been ongoing since 2022.

He elaborated on his attempts to mediate the situation by involving external auditors to review the financial records of Eezee Tee’s record label; however, these efforts were thwarted by Eezee Tee’s resistance.

Additionally, the clergyman revealed that Judikay filed an embezzlement lawsuit against Eezee Tee in 2024, alleging that he had defrauded her throughout her association with his label from 2019 to 2024.

“As children of God, anything we are doing we must act with humility and the fear of God. I came into the issue between Ezekiel Thankgod and Mercy Chinwo as far back as 2022. Both Mercy and Ezekiel were both invited to my house for a reconciliation meeting with Chioma Jesus in attendance after I learnt that they were having issues whilst she was still within her contract period.

“After long hours of meeting, it was ascertained that the issue they were having had to do with some findings Mercy had made that Ezekiel was diverting funds that should be coming to her. To ensure that the issue was resolved peacefully, I proposed that an independent auditor be brought into the issue so that we can find out if there was any truth to Mercy’s claims. We all concluded that was the way forward, and the meeting was adjourned to be held in my office on the 17th of February 2023.

“The meeting was held as scheduled with the Auditor from OLATUNJI FANIFOSI & CO in attendance alongside Ezekiel, Apeh Harrison, Temple Odoko (Ezekiel’s Pastor), Mercy and her husband, Blessed. It was agreed in that meeting that the auditor be given all documents required to make the audit process seamless. However, to my shock and utter amazement, I later received a barrage of insults from Ezekiel later that night accusing me of being a very biased elder.

“All efforts to reach Ezekiel afterwards proved abortive, as he intentionally avoided my calls, and messages and proceeded to stop paying Mercy her royalties for two years.”
