Nigerian physician and medical influencer, Chinonso Egemba, widely recognized as Aproko Doctor, has responded to man who claimed that excessive sleep is a recipe to poverty.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Aproko Doctor emphasized the importance of prioritizing sleep and ensuring adequate rest for Nigerians.

A Twitter user, Morris Monye, had previously expressed his frustration towards individuals who remain asleep at 7 or 8 a.m.

He stated, “Hate when I message people by 6am or 7am and they are still sleeping.

In his response, Aproko Doctor highlighted that insufficient sleep can lead to significant health issues over time. He pointed out that many individuals are experiencing adverse effects due to inadequate sleep.

He wrote, “Abeg sleep o! Little sleep is a recipe for dementia in old age.

People are suffering because of little sleep.

According to remarks from the individual who posted the video, the student lost consciousness just moments before the ambulance’s arrival.
