The Kebbi State police command apprehended a crossdresser who goes by the nickname ‘Maryam’ who takes advantage on unsuspecting guys.
He was alleged to have indulged in several internet encounters with guys, causing them to rush to take him as a wife without realizing he was a man.
The Gwandune town crossdresser claimed to have received thousands of Naira from suitors attempting to persuade ‘her’ to accept their marriage offers.
However, things changed as the victims began to wonder what was so great about Maryam that had so many guys falling over one other for her devotion.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime adding that he got a lot of money including foreign notes from the several men who wooed her.
According to the Police, ‘Maryam’ has been detained and will face prosecution.
