Armed Men suspected to be abductors have Kidnapped wife of a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and two others in Kwara State.
On Thursday night, the alleged seven kidnappers entered the rural community of Elerinjare in the State’s Ifelodun local government area and allegedly took the victims hostage.
Around 8:45 p.m., the incident took place at the local shop run by the pastor and his wife.
Blessing Ajiboye, the pastor’s wife, and two of her employees were allegedly abducted in her shop while she was serving customers.
It was learned that the two shop assistants eventually got their freedom back.
Pastor Johnson Olalekan Ajiboye claimed that the armed individuals, which included two women, attacked the constantly busy store from a nearby bush next to the nearby Community Primary School.
Pastor Ajiboye claimed that he heard gunshots as he left the store to retrieve something from their nearby home.
He claimed that after his wife yelled at him to call out from the house’s balcony, the thugs shot at his house’s windows and doors, making it difficult for him to leave his home and provide any assistance.
“The shooters didn’t touch or take any cash. My wife, Blessing Ajiboye, 34, was only taken into custody after the baby was freed from the baby strapped to her back. “They dropped the infant to the ground,” he said.
Additionally, it was learned that a neighbor who was reportedly sitting close to the shop was shot and was receiving treatment at a nearby private hospital.
Olu of Elerinjare, Oba Tajudeen Olaitan, the community’s monarch, is rumored to have met with the Fulani community leaders.
As the state police command’s anti-kidnapping squad searched the area for potential kidnapper arrests, local vigilantes were already on the scene to support their efforts.
