Asake, whose real name is Ololade Ahmed, has finally responded to Nigerian commentator Naijashimadun, also known as Emmanuel Philip.

 The singer, who just split from his label boss Olamide, praised Naijashimadun for helping creatives in the country. Many believe Asake’s response was a sly remark, and they took shots at the commentator.

Recall that while speaking on the red carpet, Grammy-nominated Asake mentioned that he has entered his military phase and enjoys dressing according to his feelings.

The singer also joked that he could wake up one day and remove his tattoos, making the interviewers laugh, as they noted it would be quite a task.
