ASAP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was found not guilty in a felony assault trial. The rapper, who has two children with billionaire Rihanna, would have faced over twenty years in prison if he had been convicted of attacking a former friend in Hollywood in 2021.
While seated in court, waiting for the final decision, the Grammy nominee was declared not guilty.
In a heartfelt moment, he leaped to embrace those who meant the most to him. He first hugged his mother, then his sister, and finally, he reached his love, Rihanna, whose face showed her relief.
Prosecutors claimed that A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Mayers, shot a semi-automatic gun during a fight with A$AP Relli in Hollywood on November 6, 2021, causing an injury to his hand.
