Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi Simple and recognized as the fourth baby mama of Nigerian singer Portable, recently shared an unexpected encounter that sparked reactions online.
The actress, who is known for her roles in indigenous films, took to social media to recount a moment when she passed by a group of young men in her neighborhood. Despite being unemployed, the men enthusiastically acknowledged her as the wife of the popular artist.
In a video she posted, filmed in selfie mode, Ashabi appeared both amused and stunned as the men greeted her with admiration, referencing her connection to Portable.
Although she has never shied away from expressing her feelings for the singer, Ashabi clarified that she doesn’t flaunt their relationship. However, she noted that it’s widely known they are romantically involved.
Sharing the clip online, Ashabi wrote:
“No be say i put am for my head, but e stamp dey my forehead like MTN, eveyrwhere i go ni.”
